  How Far Apart Were Your Legs?

  several threads on here about the excellent bbc r4 programme this week ('the report') focussing on rape and abuse in barry, south wales, jws.

  fat pervert mark sewell later got 14 years and i hope he is enjoying every minute of it.. the courageous ladies who spoke on the programme were articulate, reasonable and made a tremendous impression.. the quote in the thread title made an impression on me, and i hope, on all listeners.. forget religious, theological, 'biblical' issues and cut to the basics.

  a rape victim was asked to demonstrate - to demonstrate, ffs - to three unqualified (middle-aged at least, presumably) men just how far her legs were apart when she was raped.. i have rarely heard anything so outrageous, and i used to investigate rape and abuse in my profession.

  This sort of question may also be to silence the victim as the inference of compliance with open legs being incriminating and thus make the victim feel that a trial will also implicate them in wrong doing and thus not pursue further justice on their rapist bribe giving brother and perhaps lose any future help from him in the way of monetary support due to their financially destitute condition.   I think we should also think about the psychological impact this will have upon the non JW and the effect this will have upon the JW as they go from house to house in their evangelizing and cart work as they are forced to face the issues child molestation criminal cover ups that the GB has placed upon them.

  i keep reading of some guy who is so upset at someone that he goes into a theater and shoots 20 people..

  or a kid that is so mad that the other kids made fun of him that he goes to school and shoots a bunch of kids..

  or some guy that was fired from his job and he goes back and shoots of bunch of his workers.

  I will say this about the Governing Body's desire to keep enforcing Disfellowshipping tactics as a form information control is playing with fire. Not to mention the blood issue being a judicial matter makes them prone to retaliation from someone deeply hurt by the whole ordeal and might reasonably be expected in the future.

  Of course these aren't the only issues that can unleash violence against this elite group of Governing Body members there are more.

  I think the legs apart issue with the elders was to determine the amount of willingness the victim displayed in the act of aggression by the raper. Then they could pronounce a guilt verdict on the victim in a judicial committee and discount her testimony.

  So if she opened her legs wide would be an indication of willingness to receive advances by the perp thus negating her purity and perhaps highlighting her sinful nature as a possible seductress. Purely a heartless form of denial and shadow project of evil upon the poor lady in her predicament, in other words loving shepperds who will sacrifice the sheep on the alter of savage Deity worship which promotes corporation loyalty by cover ups.

  And let not forget the admission of bribery to the mix as in one elder's response to the the victim as to this person;s paying some bill for him.
